The Ministry of Basic, Higher, and Technical Education (MBHTE) has announced that the AHME Scholarship 2025 program is now accepting applications from eligible college students in the Philippines. This scholarship aims to support students for the 2025-2026 school year.

Scholarship Benefits
The AHME Scholarship provides a monthly financial grant of ₱30,000 to each AHME Scholar. This amount covers tuition fees, books, living expenses, and transportation, offering comprehensive support throughout the academic year.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be a resident of BARMM (Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao)
- Be enrolled in a BARMM Priority Program
- Be a Senior High School or ALS graduate
- Not receive any other scholarships
- Belong to the underprivileged, marginalized, or low-income sectors
- Have a combined gross annual income of ₱400,000 or less
- Be an orphan, child of a solo parent, person with disability, member of an Indigenous People community, or an Internally Displaced Person (IDP)
BARMM Regional Priority Programs
The scholarship supports a wide range of academic programs, including:
- Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) fields such as Chemistry, Data Science, Nursing, Medical Technology, and Computer Science
- Agriculture and Forestry programs like Agribusiness, Veterinary Medicine, and Fisheries
- Economic development programs, including Islamic Banking and Finance, Accountancy, Community Development, and Entrepreneurship
Application Requirements
Applicants must submit the following documents:
- Philippine Statistics Authority Birth Certificate
- Two ID pictures
- Certificate of Residency
- Academic documents (e.g., Form 138 for SHS graduates or ALS Passer Certificate)
- Financial documents (Income Tax Return, Certificate of Indigency)
- Proof of underprivileged status (e.g., solo parent ID, death certificate)
All documents must be scanned into PDF format before submission.
How to Apply
The deadline for AHME Scholarship applications is May 21, 2025. Applicants must:
- Register on the AHME Online Application Portal at ahme-mbhte.bangsamoro.gov.ph
- Prepare the required documents in PDF format
- Fill out the application form
- Attach the PDF files
- Submit and wait for system notification
