CHED Priority Courses For CHED Scholarship Program

Commission on Higher Education (CHED) has released the updated list of CHED Priority Courses eligible for the CHED Scholarship program. These courses are designed to support students in fields that contribute to national and regional development.
What Are CHED Priority Courses?
CHED Priority Courses refer to the specific degree programs that students must enroll in to qualify for the CHED Scholarship. Students from public or private higher education institutions (HEIs) who choose these courses may receive financial assistance.
The CHED Priority Programs are categorized into two types:
- National Priority Programs – Courses eligible for the CHED Scholarship across the country.
- Regional Priority Courses – Courses recognized at the regional level.

CHED also recognizes specific priority courses in different regions. Some examples include:
- CHED Region I – Bachelor of Physical Education, Technical-Vocational Teacher Education
- CHED Region III – Agriculture, Business Administration, Veterinary Medicine
- CHED Region IV – Marine Engineering, Industrial Technology
- CHED Region VII – Communication, Naval Engineering, Public Administration
- NCR – Multimedia Arts, Criminology, Business Administration (Supply Chain / Logistics Management)

CHED Merit Scholarship
Students enrolled in CHED Priority Courses may apply for the CHED Merit Scholarship. Benefits include:
- Tuition and other school fees: Up to ₱40,000
- Stipend: Up to ₱70,000
- Book / Connectivity Allowance: Up to ₱10,000
