What Are the Benefits of the CHED Scholarship?
Students who qualify for the CHED Scholarship 2025 can receive financial aid:
For State or Local Universities and Colleges (SUCs/LUCs):
- Full Scholarship: ₱40,000/semester (₱80,000/year)
- Half Scholarship: ₱20,000/semester (₱40,000/year)
For Private Higher Educational Institutions (PHEIs):
- Full Scholarship: ₱60,000/semester (₱120,000/year)
- Half Scholarship: ₱30,000/semester (₱60,000/year)
Eligibility Requirements for CHED Scholarship
- Applicants must be Filipino citizens.
- Only first-year college students (freshmen) who are senior high school graduates are eligible to apply.
- Applicants must have a General Weighted Average (GWA) of at least 93% or higher.
- The combined annual gross income of the applicant’s parents or legal guardians must not exceed ₱500,000.
- Applicants must be enrolled in a CHED-approved course at a state university, local university, or private higher education institution (PHEI).

Applicants need to submit the following documents to complete their application:
- Proof of Citizenship
Photocopy of your birth certificate issued by the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA). - Academic Records
Certified true copy of your Senior High School report card (Form 138). - Proof of Income (Any of the following)
- Latest Income Tax Return (ITR)
- Certificate of Tax Exemption
- Case Study report from DSWD
- Contract of income (for children of OFWs and seafarers)
- Other Additional Documents
- Indigenous Peoples Certification (if applicable)
- Certification from CSWD/MSWD for underprivileged individuals, PWDs, etc.
