PHINMA National Scholarship 2026-2027 Now Open for Application
The PHINMA Foundation is now accepting applications for the PHINMA National Scholarship (PNS) Program for the academic year 2026-2027. This scholarship is open for college students currently enrolled in select PHINMA partner schools.
PHINMA National Scholarship Overview
The PHINMA National Scholarship (PNS) is more than just a financial grant – it is a leadership development program that supports deserving college students. In addition to covering education-related costs, the program also includes mentoring, leadership camps, and financial support for board exams.
Scholarship Benefits
Qualified PHINMA scholars will receive:
- Monthly allowance
- Annual book allowance
- Annual uniform allowance
- Professional development allowance
- Graduation fee assistance
- Financial assistance for one board exam review class
- Latin honors incentives of up to ₱20,000
- Board passer and placer incentives of up to ₱20,000
- Participation in the Intentional Leadership Development Program
- Leadership camps, educational tours, and volunteer opportunities
- Guidance through the Mentorship Program
Who Can Apply?
- Must be a Filipino citizen
- Must be enrolled for A.Y. 2026-2027 in one of the PHINMA partner schools
- Must have a General Weighted Average (GWA) of at least 80%, with no failing grades in the previous school year
- Must come from a low-income family with an annual gross household income below ₱300,000
- Must show leadership potential and interest in nation-building
- Must not have an immediate family member who is a current PNS scholar or PNS alumni

- 1st Year: Elementary or Secondary Education

Technological University of the Philippines – Manila

- BS in Civil Engineering
- BS in Electronic Engineering
- BS in Electrical Engineering
- BS in Mechanical Engineering
University of the Philippines – Diliman
(Incoming 2nd Year Only)
- BS in Civil Engineering

Documentary Requirements
Applicants must submit the following documents:
- Clear copy of Registration or Enrollment Form
- Official record of latest academic performance:
- 1st Year applicants: Clear copy of SHS Transcript of Records or complete Grade 11 & 12 report cards
- 2nd Year applicants: Certified True Copy of Grades from 1st year in college
- Proof of Income (submit all that apply):
- Copy of breadwinner’s latest Income Tax Return and/or pay slips from the last 3 months
- Certification of Low/No Income from barangay (sealed)
- Utility bills showing last 3 months of family consumption
- At least two completed PNS Recommendation Forms submitted in separate sealed envelopes
How to Apply
- Download and fill out the PNS Recommendation Form: https://bit.ly/PNSAY2627
- Ask at least two recommenders (teacher, professor, school official, PNS alumnus, or community leader) to complete and submit the form.
- Prepare all required documents and place them in a long brown envelope.
- Write the following at the back of the envelope:
- Last Name, First Name (e.g., Dela Cruz, Juan A.)
- University – Course (e.g., TUP – BS in Civil Engineering)
- Phone number
- University email address
- Submit printed copies to your university’s OSA/OSFA/CSDL office.
