The Davao City Water District (DCWD) is now accepting applications for its College Scholarship Program for the academic year 2025-2026. The program is available to students planning to enroll at the University of Southeastern Philippines (USeP) Obrero and Mintal campuses.

Scholarship Benefits

DCWD Scholarship Program offers financial assistance that covers:

  • Meals allowance
  • Transportation allowance
  • Boarding house allowance
  • Uniform/textbook allowance
  • Thesis allowance (graduating year)
  • Cash Incentive upon graduation
  • Incentive for scholars who will qualify as Dean’s Listers

Scholarship Programs

DCWD College Scholarship for Indigenous Peoples (IPs):

This scholarship is open to senior high school graduates, current college students, and members of Indigenous Cultural Communities or Muslims from the Toril, Tugbok, Baguio, Calinan, or Marilog districts. The required documents include:

  • Notice of Admission
  • Report Card
  • Tribal Certification
  • Barangay Clearance and Endorsement
  • Certificate of Confirmation from the National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP)
  • Income Tax Return
  • Birth Certificate
  • Readiness Test Result

DCWD Academic Excellence Scholarship:

This scholarship is available to senior high school graduates from Davao City who have an average grade of 85% or higher and are ranked in the top 20% of their class. The required documents include:

  • NOAP from USeP
  • Report Card
  • Top 20% Graduation Certificate
  • Income Tax Return
  • RTCU Readiness Test Result
  • Birth Certificate
  • Recent Photo
  • Barangay Clearance and Endorsement

Applications are open until May 30, 2025. To apply, visit the Community Relations Division Office and ensure that you meet the USeP qualifying requirements.
