The Security Bank Scholarship 2025-2026 is now open for college students in the Philippines. The Security Bank Foundation Scholars for Better Communities Scholarship Program aims to provide educational support to deserving but underprivileged students enrolled in Security Bank Foundation’s partner schools.
The scholarship is managed by the Security Bank Foundation (SBFI), the corporate social responsibility arm of Security Bank Corporation (SBC), established in 1993. SBFI focuses on education as a long-term solution to poverty through programs like classroom construction and scholarships.
Funding for the scholarship comes from SBFI, while partner schools assist in screening applicants, awarding scholarships, and monitoring scholar performance.
Monetary Benefits
- State Universities: Scholars receive a stipend of Php 25,000 per half-semester or Php 100,000 per year, paid directly by the school. Tuition and miscellaneous fees are covered under the “Free Tuition Law.”
- Private Universities: Scholars receive Php 12,500 per half-semester or Php 50,000 per year, plus tuition and miscellaneous fees up to Php 100,000 annually.
Financial assistance will be released based on the maximum yearly amounts and actual class periods.

In addition to financial aid, scholars gain access to:

- Learning sessions organized by partner institutions
Who can apply for the scholarship?
The scholarship is open to college students enrolled in both State and Private Universities partnered with Security Bank Foundation.
Eligibility
- Graduating Grade 12 student from public or private school
- Minimum General Weighted Average (GWA) of 93% or equivalent
- No parent employed by Security Bank
- No immediate family member currently holding the scholarship (within second degree consanguinity or affinity)
- No other scholarships besides school discounts
- Must enroll in one of the 8 partner schools located in NCR

Required Documents
For application:
- Completed online application form
- Latest Grade 12 report card with final or latest GWA
- Parent/Guardian’s Income Tax Return (for employed) / Certificate of Indigency (for unemployed) / OFW employment contract with compensation
- Proof of admission or acceptance letter from any partner school
- Birth certificate and portrait photo of the applicant
Upon admission:
- Certificate of enrollment/registration card for A.Y. 2025-2026
- School calendar for A.Y. 2025-2026
- Copy of school grading system (if grading is not in percentage)
- Copy of course/program curriculum
- Parent/Guardian’s government-issued ID (for notarization)
