CHED CoScho Scholarship 2025-2026 Online Application
The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) is now accepting applications for the Coconut Farmers and their Families Scholarship Program (CoScho) for the academic year 2025–2026.
This scholarship is for undergraduate students who are registered coconut farmers under the National Coconut Farmers Registry System (NCFRS), or their qualified dependents.
CHED CoScho Scholarship Overview
The CHED CoScho Scholarship aims to:
- Improve access to quality education for coconut farmers and their dependents
- Support agricultural development through education in agriculture-related programs
Eligible degree programs include:
- Agriculture
- Agricultural Engineering
- Agribusiness Management
- Agricultural Economics
- Other PCA-identified courses

Scholarship Benefits
Total grant: ₱195,000 per scholar, which includes:
Regular Allowances (₱80,000)
- ₱35,000 per semester (₱70,000/year) for:
- Food
- Transportation
- Educational tours
- Medical insurance
- Communication and internet
- Small projects
- Books and materials: ₱5,000 per semester (₱10,000/year)
Other Allowances (₱115,000)
- Thesis or OJT: ₱75,000 (one-time)
- Local conference/fora attendance: ₱10,000 (junior/senior year only)
- Laptop purchase: ₱30,000 (first year only)
Qualifications
Applicants must meet the following:
- Filipino citizen
- Registered coconut farmer in NCFRS or dependent
- General Weighted Average (GWA) of at least 80%
- Must pass entry requirements of a recognized SUC
- Not a current beneficiary of any government-funded financial aid
- Combined family income must not exceed ₱300,000 annually
Required Documents
- PSA-issued Birth Certificate
- Academic records:
- Grade 11 & 12 grades (for SHS students)
- Form 138 (for SHS graduates)
- Certified copy of latest grades (for college students)
- PCA Certification from PCA Regional Office
- Certificate of Good Moral Character
- Proof of income (any of the following):
- Latest ITR
- BIR Tax Exemption or No Income Certificate
- DSWD Case Study or Certificate of Indigency
- Notice of Admission from SUC
- Barangay Certificate (if first-generation college student)
- Proof of special group status (if applicable)
Note: Only one applicant per family may avail of the scholarship.
