CHED Scholarship for Future Statisticians 2025 (ESTATISTIKOLAR) – Now Open for Applications

Who Can Apply?

The scholarship is open to Filipino college students enrolled in the following programs:

  • BS in Statistics
  • BS in Applied Statistics
  • Other PSA-identified programs with valid Government Recognition (GR) or Certificate of Program Compliance (COPC)

Eligible institutions include:

  • Private Higher Education Institutions (PHEIs) with GR
  • State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) and Local Universities and Colleges (LUCs) with Institutional Recognition (IR)

Qualifications

  • Be a Filipino citizen
  • Senior high school graduates must have a General Weighted Average (GWA) of at least 85%
  • 2nd to 4th year college students must have a GWA of at least 80%
  • Have a combined annual family income not exceeding ₱500,000

Documentary Requirements

Applicants must prepare the following:

  • Accomplished CHED Application Form
  • PSA or NSO-issued Birth Certificate

Academic Records

  • For SHS graduates: Form 138 or SF9
  • For current college students: Certified true copy of grades from the last semester

Proof of Income (any one of the following)

  • Latest Income Tax Return (ITR) of parent/legal guardian
  • Certificate of Tax Exemption or Non-Filing from BIR
  • Proof of income for OFW/seafarer parents (e.g., contract, remittance slips)
  • Social Case Study Report from C/MSWDO

Additional Documents (if applicable)

  • PWD ID or certification
  • Solo Parent ID
  • Senior Citizen ID (if dependent)
  • DHSUD or C/MSWDO certification for underprivileged/homeless families
  • NCIP certificate for Indigenous Peoples
  • Notarized Certificate of Guardianship (if not living with parent/legal guardian)
